Beastie Bass Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 Anyone used this stuff yet? I picked up some 12 for finesse jigging and a few other applications where the water is too clear for braid. I usually fish P-line fluoro-clear but they were out. > Seems pretty stiff and maybe looks like memory could be an issue. Hope I dont get let down by Berkley AGAIN! I like the visibility, but I wonder does this stuff fluoresce under blacklight? Bass see a much more broad UV spectrum, right? Wouldnt this stuff be visible to the bass above the water?! Quote
Northern Strain Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 I have stayed away from the stuff, just sounds a little goofy. Berkely had a good idea, but I just dont see how the line would be that great. Quote
Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted March 28, 2010 Super User Posted March 28, 2010 only thing to do is try it out , you never know it might work out for you . is it that you can't see the line above water ?? most times in that situation i go by the feel of the line rather than sight . flourocarbon line would be better in my opinion .... Super User Wayne P. Posted March 29, 2010 Super User Posted March 29, 2010 I've never seen water too clear for braid when bass fishing. Trout maybe, but bass-no way!!!! Quote
