Does anyone use fluoro. on spinning gear for senkos,tubes,shaky heads,ect.? If so what brand is best?Handling,Sensitivity,ect. Always have used mono. with no problems but maybe its time i get with the times OR is there a BETTER WAY? THANX FOR ANY INPUT.

I have tried several brands with not much issue.  I use mostly 8# test for senkos/shakey heads.  I have used P-Line 100% floro in the past without issue and I am currently using Trilene 100% floro the last 2 seasons.  The key with floro is to make sure it is not twisting when you are putting it on the spool and also to not over-fill.  If you do you will have issues.  Hope this helps.

I just started using Vicious fluorocarbon. So far so good. I think they have some of the best customer service and support of their product available. And its the cheapest brand available that is actually 100% fluorocarbon, not so for others lines that say they are. I good line conditioner does a lot for fluoro as well, the vicious and KVD line conditioner are pretty much the same thing but it does wonders.

Seaguar Invizx. Last year I used 8lb, this year i'm using 10lb.

You want to underfill the spool when using fluoro so it will be less likely to jump off the spool.  There are lots of good brands.  One of the better brands I've used is Bass Pro Shops XPS fluoro - which is on sale right now for less than any fluoro brand you're likely to find elsewhere.

Basspro XPS flouro is really good line. It has less stretch than Seaguar Invizx. They are having a sale on it right now. I highly recommend it.

I use 12 pound  vanish on my spinning rod that I use for wacky rigged senko's. I use 12 because of the spots I throw my bait ( weeds, laydowns, stumps, anywhere!!!!)

I use superline (Fireline or PowerPro) with a fluorocarbon leader for finesse stuff, and most everything else, really.

No line issues to speak of, great hook-sets, and I don't have to use much of the more expensive fluoro at one time, so a "filler" (100-yard) spool last quite a while.

Of course, you do have to learn to tie a couple of new knots well to do it that way... 8-)

Fluoro is great, but kind of a pain on spinning gear.

I use braid with a flourocarbon leader for finesse fishing on spinning gear. With braid, you don't have the memory problems, line twist, etc. The flouro. leader gives you the invisible link to your bait. I attach them with a blood knot. I don't use any particular leader length, haven't seen where it makes a difference. I'm using 10-14# Crystal braid with a 8# flouro. leader. Put some KVD Line & Lure on the night before and I think you'll be pleased.

Ya I gotta agree that braid with a fluro leader is the way to go IMHO. Next would be 8lb invisx or Cabelas fluro. I recently picked up a spool of braid that was 20# test with a 4lb diameter that I use as my main line and 8lb fluro as my leader and it's great. As many on here know I've made posts about spinning gear and how it's the bane of my existence. Now with this set up and a new American Rod Smiths team series rod most of my problems have all gone away.
