As far as rods, already have a St. Croix Mojo 7'. I am considering staying with this lineup. Now, looking for a 7'2" to 7'6" flipping/pitching rod. Are the American Rodsmith Wreckin' sticks or Kistler Magnesium TS's any better quality? Also what reel would work best? Looking at Curado, Okuma Serrano, or any other baitcaster around that $180-200 range.

Let me know if you try the Serrano. I have been toying with the idea of purchasing one, mostly because I have been toying with the idea of purchasing an Okuma CX Rod - looks like they might form a strong team.

FYI, there is a rebate on the Serrano, $30 back, I think it is on their web site.
