The_Natural Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 I don't really have a favorite color of rooster tail, because when the sandies are runnin', they will eat anything! I don't use them for targeting largemouth specifically, or know anyone who does. Quote
Vyron Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 I use them only for trout fishing in any color Quote
Bud Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Here on Ky Lake we use then to catch white Bass in the power house intake. I nornally use 1/4 oz in white. If you can find a striper jump you can load the boat using the rooster tail. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted December 30, 2006 Super User Posted December 30, 2006 In spring and early summer I use these all the time. I have caught just about everything on them, bluegill, crapie, bass and even some catfish. My favorite secret weapon is a sonic white 1/4 or 1/8 oz. rooster tail. I go through about 4 of these a year. The hooks and body of it just get destroyed. I have caught 30+ crappie and 5 bass in about a four hour span. Not my got to lure but it is a lot of fun. Quote
