Three casting reels

I need three reels in the 175-200 range for these techniques

reel 1. Soft and hard jerkbaits/wakebaits

Reel 2. Topwaters

Reel 3. Deep cranking a medium cranking

Uh, Revo, Revo, and Revo.  In case you want to get specific SX or STX.  If you are talking deep cranking exclusively, a Winch could well be thrown in there.

There are many great reels at that price range (I'm told. All of mine are in the $60-100 range.). It really comes down to personal preference.

Real speed in large part is also matter of preference. Something in the 26-28 IPT would be my preference for 1&2. If you are going to throw deep diving cranks with 3, a slower IPT would be my choice. I was reminded yesterday just how much work deep divers are.

Reel #1 -- Shimano Curado 200e7.

Reel #2 -- Shimano Curado 200e7.

Reel #3 -- Abu Garcia Revo STX or SX.

When you need casting distance, the Curado is the way to go. But a lot of people like the Revo's over the Curado's for crankbait fishing.

By strating at $175.00, you have excluded several great reels that fall below that price range. The Revo SX is below it. The Shimano Citica is below it. BPS has some high quality reels below that price also. If you are sure taht you want to spend at least $175.00 then the Shimano Curado E7 or the Revo STX would be good choices. The E7 might be a little fast for some presentations if you don't slow the cranking speed. The Revo is available in 6.4.1 or 7.1. For cranking, I would get the Revo Winch or the E5.

Thats just general price range if I can save money and still get close to the same quality i will do it but i can get a curado for 140
