I was wondering if you can help me choose which of these reels are good . I have picked some baitcasting reels out that i was going to buy but i want your opinion first on what you think of them . I was going to use them for flipping and pitching along weed edges . So here are my choices daiwa megaforce 5 +2 twitchin' bar reel or the megaforce plus 11+2 twitchin'bar reel or new Pinnacle Vision Slyder with a wheel bar and which of the reel do you think ?

I should get for flipping and pitching . :-/

p.s. i add some more on the poll so give me opinions?

I would love to help, but I don't understand what you're asking.
I need some help. I want to buy a fishing reel but can't decide what to get. My choices are: Daiwa Megaforce 5 +2, Megaforce Plus 11+2, or a Pinnacle reel?

I want all you guys and girls to help me pick the best reel. So, can you help me, please? I'm so confused. :-/

My skills as a translator are somewhat lacking, but I believe my rewrite to be fairly close...

The only one of the reels mentioned that I have any experience with is the "standard" Megaforce. I bought one shortly after they came out, used it maybe 7 or 8 times, and sold it here in the Flea Market.

It had quite a whine/howl during casting, the drag required readjustment after every cast, twitching bar is nothing but a gimmick and is almost completely useless in heavy weeds, and it's built on a graphite frame.

It's an okay reel, I suppose, but I think you can do better in that price range.

Much better! I owned a Megaforce when they first came out. I didn't have the problems that Stasher1 had, but I just didn't like it. I would stay away from the Black Max because of the reviews I've read here. I think if I had to choose from your list, I'd go with the Pinnacle Slyder only because they are new and I haven't heard anything bad about them yet.

Personally, I'd pass on any reel with a gimmicky lever/dial/roller and look for one with a proven, reliable braking system and an aluminum frame.

You didn't mention what your budget is, but based on the reels you asked about, I'm going to assume $60-$70. A brand new aluminum framed reel in that range may not be easy to find, but there are usually tons of used examples in that price range.

don't meen to be mean , but all those reels are crap , if i were you i would try to get a good reel that has been slightly used , look in the flea market section and look for a revo s , shimano citica , or at least a quantum accurist , if not take a look at the BPS extreme's , alot of people say they are good reels for the money .

I know its not on your list but I would look into the Daiwa Exceler which had some pretty good reviews awhile back in a issue of BassMaster. I think the reel is right around the $80 price range also. I've had the Original Megaforce and never had a problem with it but ended up selling it here in the flea market also.

Not to fond of any of those reels, used to want a Megaforce, then realized the bar was unnecessary and an extra piece to break, and I seen a lot of them broken.  I would say take a look at the Vision XLT (urrently $99)or the Matrix XLT ($95), they are both within the price of the Megaforce +.  I would also mention the Exceler, seems like a fine reel.
