I found this lure on ebay, but all it said was japanese real minnow. Anybody know which company makes this bait? It is aprox. 5" long and weighs 3/4oz.

It looks like a cheap kids type toy with hooks.  Wouldn't bother.

Pretty realistic looking toy if you compare it to this:   http://cgi.ebay.com/BAT-COUNT-FISHULA-BAIT-CASTING-LURE-PIKE-BASS_W0QQitemZ130177128852QQihZ003QQcategoryZ31693QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

God that is so trashy with that picture of the little girl holding all the dead bass... garbage.

GREAT! The Bass Gestapo. Here come another 100 posts of ranting and raving because someone kept a fish... Give it a break!

It does look like it was purpose designed and built to be a bait.  The place where the screw eyes go in seem to be reinforced with extra plastic.

But will it run true and catch fish?  Hmmm.

Yo Jake,

Kinda looks like he waits for the Halloween store to run a clearance on plastic bugs then he puts a spinner and a wal mart treble on it.
