Has anyone gotten the Wiley X sunglasses from Abu?

I was thinking about ordering one of the Revo's, and since I was planning on buying a pair of good glasses this year, why not go ahead and do it.  It looks like a steal to me.  I did have a couple questions though.

How long did it take to get the glasses?

How do you like Wiley X glasses in general?  How do they compare to Costa's?

Took me about 6 weeks.

Overall, they are nice glasses.  I've had worse.  I've had better.

They are better than the Costas I have BUT I don't have the top of the line.

I ordered a Revo stx that was in stock but then my confirmation e-mail said it was back-ordered and will take 30 days to come in. And it seems there are a couple other model revos that are backordered. I'm sure its because everyone like me and you saw it as a good deal which it is. But if you get a backordered reel you'll have the 30 day wait plus the other maybe 6 weeks before you get your glasses. So just keep that in mind.

I really don't understand this because there are hundreds of places you can order the reels from. It doesn't have to be Abu's site if this is where you ordered it from. The rebate qualifies from anywhere except for Ebay I believe; I got my revo STX from BPS. Anyways, it took me 4 weeks to get the glasses which isn't bad in my opinion because any rebate takes a while to receive and they are a free pair of quality sunglasses. Plus, Revo's are excellent reels (I own 4). I am unable to compare the Wiley's to another pair of nice glasses because I only used to buy cheap glasses, so the rebate was nice. They work well and fit my fat head nicely, so I don't have any complaints. Revo's are fantastic reels, so you don't have anything to lose in ordering the reel. If you don't like the glasses, sell them on the flea market and buy a pair in which you do like. It's a win-win situation no matter what.

I got mine last year when they ran the same deal... and I want to say it took about 4-5 weeks to get the glasses... which seemed about normal for these type of deals... I got the Slyde's which seem nice... but I don't have any of the Costa's to compare them with...

i bought my reel of off ebay from united outdoors and had no problem with getting my shades . i got a NIB REVO TORO 51 for $199.00 w/free shipping , they give you a receipt that you make a copy of it then send in . if they are not backordered , you will get them in about a week or so . i still have to send in my receipt from buying a REVO INSHORE , hopefully do it soon

I wasn't sure about ebay or not, but I was just playing it safe with him. I ordered a rod from UnitedOutdoors that broke in transit. I emailed them and told them and that same day, they shipped a new one to me. Within one week, I received 2 rods from them. Fast shipping and excellent customer service and I recommend purchasing items from them off of ebay.

I sent my rebate in about a week and a half ago. I emailed one of their support people, just curious as to how long it could take for the tracking to show up for my rebate, and they told me to allow atleast 2 weeks to receive and process my rebate. Thats all I know so far.

united outdoors are very good to deal with , an even better one is Lakeside Reels , he ships usps priority mail (2 days) and it's also free shipping . beleive it or not , i actually had Abu Garcia change the rebate deal involving the receipt , you used to have to send in the original receipt but now you can send a copy

I have bought two reels and received two glasses no problems yet, first pair recieved in about 2 months, 2nd pair took about 3 weeks

I just ordered an STX for Tackle Warehouse and they were in stock.  They said 6 weeks for glasses.  Only heard great things about the glasses.  I have Smith Optics Guide Wear glasses in copper and they are outstanding.

mine took about 5-6 weeks, very happy with them. Just sent in another rebate for the zaks. Great deal. Get a great reel, and a free pair of good sunglasses to boot.

Got the p-17s last year. Took about 7 weeks. They are ok but oakley makes superior sunglasses.
