Is there a small but heavy topwater out there? I like the tiny torpedo or the size up from it but they dont get a lot of distance. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

I just thought of the first one I have in my box which is the yo-zuri bannana boat jr minnow.(spook type lure). There are a few sizes of this and even the small one casts like a rocket due to the magnetic transfer weights inside.

Use spinning tackle if you want long-distance casting  a small or light lure.  :P

i really like the tiny and baby torpedos as well and faced the same problem  i used spinning gear and still couldnt reach the other side of the lake  well i just backed down the line size a few notches  also add a spitshot to help cast distance  and it actually gives the bait a little bit different but good action without sinking the bait

Try a Smithwick "Devil Horse". It's a topwater prop bait, longer than a Torpedo. It's a bigger bait and you can cast it a mile. It's a fish catcher too. JMHO

So you want smaller but heavier.  Look into the "woodchopper" short, stubby prop bait, but heavy.

Not made anymore but they are still around.  Weighs 1/2 oz I think.  Appx 2", 2.5" maybe.

This is a big fish bait, all day long.  Made of WOOD, I switch it up with the Dying flutter, feels like the same lure on the other end but offers different (not necessarily "smaller") profile but more importantly, offers a different cadence and sound in the water.

Exactly what your looking for :P

Now, I'm not knocking the devils horse, a fine fish catcher all day long, but if you fish these and haven't used the Heddon version (Dying Flutter), you are really cheating yourself.  Almost the exact same bait but they are the more durable of the 2.  These are real warriors. (less prop tuning also)

(they help you stay "incognito" too.lol)

Kind of off topic, but if you really want to stay with your favorite top water this could be another option.  Last year I tried putting 10lb braid with 8lb mono as a leader.  I dont know if I will ever go back to the original (all mono) way!! I love this setup.....on my spinning tackle of course.  The mono is a lot heavier than the thin braid, so the mono almost pulls the line out with the lure.  I can cast any lure half a mile, and I have never had problem with knots slipping or breaking.  Another thing I love about it is the fact that I use high vis. braid.....This is an awesome setup for soft plastics too.
