I like the feel of the carbonlite better. Plus you cant beat the warranty on the bps rods. Also the carbonlite rods are already on sale right now as we speak, but in store only!

I just bought a vendetta 4 hours ago. I saw the postings for the spring classic. They said some luckycraft lures will be on sale so you better bet I will be there. Vendetta seems like a good heavy rod, If I end up not liking it I will return it. I don't care about the carbonlite because I don't care for the basspro products.

Only reason i got the basspro rod is because im going to crank with it. I wanted a cheaper rod because i barely crank and i wanted to try it out this year. Also for the warranty they have.

this is their warranty

Bass Pro Shops brand rods are warranted for 1 year from the date of purchase against defects in materials, workmanship, and against breakage under normal fishing conditions, to the original purchaser. This warranty is void if the rod is in an abused or misused condition and does not cover "normal wear and tear." Rods manufactured by other companies need to be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement under warranty after 30 days from date of invoice.

Same here actually, I bought the Vendetta earlier today. I got it because this will be a worm/jerk bait rod, which both seem to work best on a MH-Fast rod, and I REALLY liked how the grip feels. All of my other rods are full cork handles, and this one felt so much more comfortable.

This rod paired with the Revo SX and 12# Pline weighs 14 ounces according to my fish scale. I checked to see if the scale is correct with a small weight that I know is exactly 2 pounds, and it was dead on. I was pretty surprised by that. The rest of my rods are of the less expensive range, and they all weighed about 1lb4oz and up. I didn't expect my flippin' to be very light though  ;D

So far, just playing around with it casting in the back yard with junk lures and weights, I like it a lot. But I can't say much more until I actually put it to use.

Not bad. But i would rather go to my local bps store and get another rod for free instead of having to pay at least $30 for shipping the rod there and back.

Warranty on the Vendetta is 3 years, not 30 days.
