St. Croix Legend Tournament Slop-N-Frog

I bought this rod the other day and paired it with my Chronarch 100D7 but I'm not sure if I'm gonna like it.  I've heard people say the Mojo is tip heavy, but the Legend seems to be a little tip heavy also.

Has anyone used this rod?  If so, how is the comfort, casting, and all around performance of this rod?  Did I do ok, or do I need to take it back and get something different for throwing frogs?

Allot of this fishing game is mental. If you think it will help your game then keep it. If you are not quite sure go swing a few more rods (with your reel on them) and go from there. Two many choices out there. If your combo does not fell right to you then it goes back. You do not go fishing to fight your equipment. Rod down, some tip heavy is ok, rod up presentation some tip heavy is a minus, but sometimes a given.

Ive got the st croix mojo slop n frog.  It may be a tiny bit tip heavy, but I don't mind it at all.  My concern was how it handled big fish, and after 6, 7, 8, and 10 pound largemouth bass brought in on it, it performed very well for me.  I will buy another one later. I have no complaints so far.

If you think it being tip heavy is going to bother you then you should probably try and take it back and get something else. I don't see how it could really bother you that much though unless you are going to be using that technique/rod all day long.

I think you're right, it just doesn't feel right to me. I don't want to be fishing with something that I'm not completely happy with, so I think I'm gonna go ahead and take it back and get something different.
