Best frog/grass rod?

Well the question is already been asked....

Use: Mostly lures from 3/8 - 3/4 oz. frogs and such pulling through grass and pads.

I'd like to get a Loomis frog rod but I just can't justify it when sensitivity and weight really isn't an issue. I was thinking Falcon but looking for other opinions.

for me it is a 7'-7'6'' heavy powered , fast tip rod , the brand of rod is up to your liking . just get the best rod you can for your budget , lately i have been using my 7'XH Carrot Stix for throwing frogs , this rod is super light and has ALOT of backbone with an excellent fast tip that can really sling the bigger sized frogs a long ways .... btw, weight is always a factor when throwing reaction type baits when you make repetitive casts ........

I'm kinda just wondering about brands really. I know I need a 7'-7'6" H graphite rod. The reason why weight isn't a factor to me is because I don't spend hours with that technique and I would consider myself in pretty good shape. As long as I am not using a fiberglass rod, I'm usually ok.

The Mojo or the new Carbonlite and all for under a $ 100 bucks. You don't need a big $$$ rod.The Carbonlite is VERY lite. I just did pick up two of them and they do come in a 7'6" H action and a fast or x fast tip and that makes for a good frog rod!

Skip the Mojo, I like St Croix, but that 7'H rod is a broom stick with guides wrapped on it,made for the thickest of thick grass and big lures, unless thats what you want. Almost any  7' H power/Fast action rod would be a great choice. I used a 7'H Fenwick HMX for years and liked it alot, I now have a 7' H Kistler Mag TS "Jig and Toad".......have yet to use, so I "hope" it's an upgrade.

I love Kistlers. I have a Helium flippin stick. I may look for a 7'6" Mag TS. They are reasonable in price.

I don't think they make a 7'6" Mag TS, you got a 7' or 7'8" (I know what's 2", but it would mater to me)

I have the 7'8" Telescopic Magnesium. It's a FANTASTIC frog rod. The tip is soft enough to let you really launch a light frog.

I picked up the new Loomis TWFR 935C mag heavy frog rod.  It is far and away a better stick than the poor excuse of a frog rod Loomis used to offer.  While I haven't had the opportunity to put in some serious time with this stick, my initial impression is that it is going to handle these duties perfectly.  I've thrown some hollow body frogs with it to get a feel, and I'm really liking what I've felt so far.  The combination of tip and power feel just right to me.  Come on summer! 8-)
