nralover Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Do reels really benefit from this? How much of a project is it? I ain't the handiest guy in the world... Quote

nralover Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 If you're not the handiest guy in the world, probably not. Well, I guess it is more of a lack of patience than a lack of dexterity. Which reel manufacturers are known to overlube? I bought a Core, and I want to get the most out of it... Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 19, 2010 Super User Posted February 19, 2010 If you just got it, fish it like you stole it, while its under warranty. Once out of warranty, have a pro do the work. Quote

Delaware Valley Tackle Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Many manufacturers over lube, but like JFrancho said, it won't do any harm to fish it and break it in. After you get it serviced it'll come back better than new! Quote
