I've caught more big bass on Wal/Mart's 6 Renegade Hook Tail Worms than I ever have on Gary Yamamoto's Senko. Does this make the Renegade Worms better than the Senko? To the bass it did!

Last year I caught 4 double digit bass on Gene Larew 7 ½ Ring Worm which cost the unbelievable price of $22.84 per 100 which figures out to $0.23 a piece. Gene Larew Lures manufactures their baits using the finest soft-plastic injection molding equipment in the industry. That's why their baits are so consistent in shape and color, which isn't always the case with many soft baits on the market today.

That's high quality without the high price  ;)

This thread isn't about plastics!!!

Read the whole thread, he's describing a "quality and Quantity" (i.e. Value) bait.  Just like *** is to me.

Im not saying luckycraft is the end all be all ,im just saying they are no way over rated.

Would you agree to over-priced?

("have a nice day",...lol....you're too much, play nice,lol. :) )

LBH,

I guess one of two things are happening

1) I haven't fished enough this winter to remember the two sizes of hooks I use most. I thought it was 3/0 and 4/0 even though I prefer the 4/0. Maybe I use 4/0 and 5/0, but I don't think so. I'm at work can't verify it

2)I just don't rig it very good. If my memory is right and I have trouble with the 4/0 and not a 5/0 then the hook goes too far down and a lot of the time sucks through the bait. Either way the way I rig them seems to be a problem with the hook size I prefer.

Great bait I just fish beavers so much, and I have to have a second t-rig pole with that size hook. A little frustrating, but not the end of the world. Wish I was going to Guntersville to see what I was doing wrong w. the 4/0.

Hey LC, I just learned a lesson this week, and it was re-enforced by both Avid and Glenn; Threads gro to be what they are, they get a life of thier own, the fellas take em where they go. We ain't here to contorl eachother and sometimes a can of worms( yea I know it's not a plastic thread :;)  ) gets opened and sometimes the thoguht get's lost but thats how things go.

Ok then bring your Lucky Craft stick bait down here to the Big Pond and I'll throw a cheap ole Rogue or bring any high quality lipless crank bait and I'll throw a cheap ole Rat-L-Trap.

It really doesn't make a difference to the bass but if it makes you happy then by all means throw it.

I'm with Raul on this one.  I experiment with all types, form an opinion on my own, and decide at the end of the day if it goes in the junk box or stays on the boat.  You should see my junk box!

would it be nice if their baits were three dollars cheaper, sure it would

could they still sell just as many baits if they cost three dollars more than what they do, probably

so i dont know about overpriced, but in todays world what isnt overpriced(besides *** blah blah blah) ;D ;D ;Dj/k
