ghost Posted February 9, 2010 Author Posted February 9, 2010 With the hook keeper rusting, I use clear nail coat/polish to keep it from rusting. If the keeper is rusted, do you best to sand paper the rust and then apply a coat of nail polish. Quote
Super User Paul Roberts Posted February 9, 2010 Super User Posted February 9, 2010 I picked one up earlier today. Nice light rod. Ultra sensitive. I just need to get used to the extra fast tip on it for hooksets. I couldn't complain about it one bit really. My only gripe is that the hook keeper is mounted on the underside of the rod. I like mine on the side or on the face of it. We can't have it all! ;D ;DI can't wait to see the Carbonlite. What averyone is saying ,it sounds like a great rod. I had been thinking about the Mojo, and the Vendetta. I was at Gander today and was looking at the Vendatta, and it was nice and lite. But from what everyone is saying the Carbonlite is evan ligther. I haven't put a Vendetta on a scale, but action for action, the Vendetta is heavier and more rubbery feeling. The Carbonlite is crisp, and more comparable to the high end rods. Lotsa talk I know...I can't wait for the ice to break!!!!!!!! :D :D Quote

koulaid Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 I just bought the carbonlite rod yesterday. It is still on sale at bps. I was shocked when the teller said it was on sale and $20 off. Light rod and pairs up nice with my curado. Quote
