I just picked up one of these in the Spinnerbait 7' mh fast action. I used to have a St. Croix Triumph with the same specs and I loved it. I was just wondering if anybody else has had or has one of these and how they like it? I also have a couple e21 carrot stix that I love. I'm thinking of picking up a new spinning rod. Should I go with the St. Croix or Carrot Stix? Lend me your opinion. Thanx ::)

I picked up two on here used and love them both. I have no complaints whatsoever regarding either the spinning or baitcasting mojo rods. Never owned a carrot stix so can't offer an opinion.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of either one.

I think if you're thinking about dropping the $150 on a CS you ought to see how it compares to the Avid and not the Mojo. You're talking about two different classes of rods.

I like the Avid. A friend I fish with has one and I used it for one trip. I still liked my carrot stick better. I just trying to save some cash. I've caught bass over 6lbs on both and they both performed excellent. Thanx for the info

After fishing Carrots, the Mojo's feel like broom handles.

I have 5 of the mojos the spinnerbait, plastics, pitching, crankbait, and topwater haven't got to use the crankbait or topwater yet but if there anything like the other three I'm going to really like them as well

Mojos are way too tip heavy for me. the 6'6" rods might be better but the 7' rods make my thumb hurt theyre so tip heavy.

I have the 7MHF spinnerbait Mojo Bass and like it.  I'd prefer a CS but not for $50 more.  Mojos feel a bit heavy to me and aren't exceptionally sensitive but a decent rod for $100.  I like teh St. Croix premieres as well  and they are in the same price range.  Compare Mojo Bass to Premiere, not to CS.
