Super User Grey Wolf Posted February 3, 2010 Super User Posted February 3, 2010 Well what are its spec's ? Quote
L a r r y Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 What site did you see this on? Will this be marketed to a specific region? I'm not able to find any info about this stick anywhere, besides a link back to BR. Fill us in on what you have found out hahaha Quote
Pantera61 Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 Well what are its spec's ? The rod discussed in the thread is 6'6", it's got 10 guides, extra fast taper, medium action, weighs 3.4 oz. That's what I get out of it, along with the oohs and aahs. Quote
bmadd Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I think the same site said release was set for fall 2010. I imagine they will either be unveiled at the Classic or at icast Quote
Pantera61 Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 TT says there will be more information released this weekend. Quote
Super User Tin Posted February 4, 2010 Super User Posted February 4, 2010 Pure Fishing always has some big new thing they keep low key for the Classic expos. Quote
Cavfirst Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Another white rod (Just like Boyd Ducketts) blanks are probably made by the same company making Ducketts in China, I bet Abu's will be cheaper. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted February 5, 2010 Super User Posted February 5, 2010 Another white rod (Just like Boyd Ducketts) blanks are probably made by the same company making Ducketts in China, I bet Abu's will be cheaper. At least Abu had the sense to give it foam grips, the cork on the Duckett rods just turns my stomach. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted February 5, 2010 Super User Posted February 5, 2010 I think its funny that Pantera61 posted this as a question, like "does anyone else have any info?" but ends up giving all the info and answering the questions. Quote

Ern Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 I like it. I need a 7' Med casting.....but Sept. due date. Quote
Radical Conservative Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Ok, that got me a little too excited. How am I supposed to focus on Vengeances and Vendettas when I know this thing will be out in September? Quote
L a r r y Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 ahhhhhhh thanks It's a pretty good lookin rod. It is an awesome looking rod. I already have two Vendettas, and I am needing another rod. Too bad that this thing will not be available until later this year. I don't know which rod I should get and what I will use it for, as the two that I have now, generally serve all types of fishing I'm doing now Quote
fishntime Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Honestly I am a big Diawa fan, but this rod definitely has my attention. Im in need of one or two rods and I guess I ll just wait till Sept. for one of the two. But, in the mean time it will give me a chance to figure out which reel is going to choosen for the new storm trooper paint job. Quote
Super User Gone_Phishin Posted February 7, 2010 Super User Posted February 7, 2010 I kinda like them. I've been looking for a 7', M spinning rod to throw cranks at 'eyes...this may be the one. Quote
