birdley123 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Does it have a shaft bearing? Or just the bearings on the ends? I got one today and I can't find the bearing or a bushing on the shaft? did the 100's come without a shaft bearing? :-? Quote

I can't think of any Curados that have a bearing on the spool shaft itself. I'd have to go and check the other schematics to verify that, though. Quote
birdley123 Posted February 5, 2010 Author Posted February 5, 2010 Sorry, its a Curado 100B, CU-100B. Quote
OnthePotomac Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Yes, that reel has two BNT0194 bearings, one is in the left cover and one is under the cast control cap. The other bearing through which the spool shaft passes is a BNT2170 for the pinion gear. There is also a tiny bearing under the drive shaft (BNT0031). This is a really great reel and I wish I had bought more than three. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 5, 2010 Super User Posted February 5, 2010 Quote Sorry, its a Curado 100B, CU-100B. The the two parts I listed are the spool bearings. They get oil. You can lube the other two with oil, but the reel cranks smoother if packed with grease. Quote
