Super User .dsaavedra. Posted January 19, 2008 Author Super User Posted January 19, 2008 lol i wish! ....no just one Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted January 19, 2008 Author Super User Posted January 19, 2008 or i could go with getting another one of these instead of a frog. Quote

Depends on where you're going to throw it. If you're fishing muck, the lipless frog would be my choice. If fishing more open water, I'd consider the lipped frog. Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Yeah Micropterus hit the nail on the head. If your throwing it in Heavy muck choose the lipless, choose the lipped for more open water type areas. Man if only they had that V-Joint lure in a larger size, looks like it would make an amazing striper plug for throwing off the surf. Quote

Super User Tin Posted January 19, 2008 Super User Posted January 19, 2008 I remember a while back you posted pics of some of the areas you fish. Personally I would give the lipped one a shot. From what I remember the pads were not too thick so I doubt you will have any issues. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted January 19, 2008 Author Super User Posted January 19, 2008 pads i fish are pretty thick: i dont know. it all depends on how much money i can get out of my sister (she's paying, im taking her biology course). hopefully i can get her to give me $50 so she doesnt have to pay for shipping too ;D Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 19, 2008 Super User Posted January 19, 2008 Ya in the top pic the lipped one will get through. In the bottom pic I wouldnt fish the pads with a frog, I think flipping is a better choice. Quote
Joel W Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 From the two pictures you posted, I would definitely go with the lipless frog. BTW, I've never bothered trying to fish a fog in open water. I rather use a Super Fluke or a Horny Toad instead. Quote
Super User Sam Posted January 19, 2008 Super User Posted January 19, 2008 Lipless dragged over the pads and grass and along the grass and pad lines. You should do good. If you do not do good your dad will do good. And you want to do good. Are you good with this? ;D Quote

Chad. Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Hey i have the 65 in white with brown spots and no matter how many times i tried i could not catch a fish with one, on the other hand try a snagproof. Quote
JigNBig Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I think its time to get a flippin stick. Flip the holes with a baby brush hog and pegged 1/4oz tungsten weight. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted January 20, 2008 Author Super User Posted January 20, 2008 i agree fishindude. i dont even frog fish much, infact, i cant catch a fish on a frog to save my life....they always miss it and on the rare occasion they do bite i cant get hooked up because of the crappy hooks on the snagproof frog. but i took out the crappy double hook and added a single 4/0 gammy so im excited to see how it'll improve my hook-ups. plus, my sister isnt giving me as much money as i had hoped, so im not even gonna get a frog : ;D Quote
Chad. Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Haha you're sister gets you stuff, only my oldest sister ever get me stuff ( I have two ) the other one is the cheapest in our family . Quote
JigNBig Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I would much rather fish a plastic frog anyways.... But if your going to get one get a more compact frog and you will catch all sizes of fish. like a SPRO Bronzeye Jr. You can even flip those holes w/ a plastic frog if you have enough patience and let it sink in. BARON49_Northern NY Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 If I can add my 2 cents. Based on the pictures I would be throwing a Sng Proof Tournament Frog and a Ribbit buzz frog in the places the pictures show. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted January 20, 2008 Author Super User Posted January 20, 2008 Which size bubble pop did you get? idk it was the only size that TW had. i think its 65 or something like that but im not sure. Quote
