Please help!!! Looking for Timber Spin by Strike King

I am looking to purchase a lure made by Strike King about 10 years ago called a Timber Spin. I have spent hours upon hours looking for these lures online. This lure in my opinion is one of the best top water lures ever made. I have a brother in law who won't share.... Any info on someone who might have a few lying around I would love to get my hands on a couple. especially to tell my brother in law I got my hands on some.........Thank You

The Strike King Timber spin and the Timber buzz were both inline baits.  I can't find any tackle places online that sell the Strike King Timber Spin or Buzz.

I have had some great success on inline buzz baits, but they are difficult to find.

I use the Uncle Bucks inline buzz made with bucktail hair.  In many situations, especially up north, this is a great bait... If the Timber Buzz was like the Uncle Bucks, an inline with bucktail, I found mine with the muskie baits (can't remember the store), you may want to try there and you might find something similar...

I had the timber buzz, caught a 19"lm my first time out (for the yr.) about 15 yrs. ago. There was still a little ice around some of the banks , and i fished for 4 hrs. without a bite. Tried my new Timber buzz and on my 2nd cast caught that fish. I used it for a few months after that and never got another bite until a pike took it. iI would like another one, but i can't find one either....

I know this thread is really old, so just hoping by that someone can respond and help me out. I was researching "Timber Buzz" which is how I can across this page. I have a grandpa who has Alzheimer's now, but at one point was an active fisherman. He had his own Bass Pro store for over 30 years, which we just cleaned out. I found letters between him and the Mann lure owner where my Grandpa was given bait as a "field tester" before it ever came out into production. 

 

So...what's my best bet on finding values on these items? There's over 500 lures and thousands of worms! 

 

Oh...and I may have the Timber Buzz you're looking for. 

 

Yellow package, says "Timber Buzz" and "Strike King". 

 

I would upload a picture,  but it's saying it's too large and I don't know what to do to fix that.

A lot of older lures that were sold in large chain stores don't carry a lot of value because they were mass produced. In some cases, certain colors might have more value than others. I'm assuming since they came from a store that a lot of them might still be in the package? You should be able to use that information to do a little searching online and see if you can find any others for sale to get an idea of what they're going for. Things like this are hard to determine a value because they're only worth as much as a collector is willing to pay. I know there used to be a section in the back of Bassmaster magazine dedicated to helping people find the value of old fishing equipment but not sure it still exist.
