BUY IT! that's a classic reel.  It's been selling for over $250 on ebay and some even sold for over $300.  That's a great cranking reel and I think your lucky to even get your hands on one.

I've seen them typically selling for around $100-125.  $250 for a Curado 3.8?    ;D

"Worth" is a relative term.  Unless you are into nostalgia, there are better choices for your money.

My old Quantum 3.8:1 crankin' reel has been "retired" for a number of years now. And i'm almost done retrieving my last cast with it....later
