Super User .dsaavedra. Posted January 15, 2008 Super User Posted January 15, 2008 they were one of the few things at the top of my BPS list. when i went i got a pack of the clips and a pack of the bullet weights with clips attached. im really excited to try them out. Quote
Shad_Master Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I like the clips, but am not as sold on the bullet weights with the clips attached -- I have said a 100 times, I don't know how they work, I don't know why they work - I just know they work! Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted January 16, 2008 Super User Posted January 16, 2008 I haven't used that brand. I make my own and use that design as well as others. Quote
flippin4it. Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I have been using just the clips for the past year and love them. Ika's and Senko's alike benefit from the use of the clips. Just bought 5 more packs last Tuesday while in BPS. I have seen someone use a swivel in the same manner. Quote
LakeAnnaBasser Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 I use the weights. I really like them. It basically pegs the weight and keeps the head of the worm from sliding down. Quote

I too have used the clips and I like them also, they stop the bait from moving down the hook. I have not used the weights but I am sure that they would work too. Quote
Shad_Master Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Just another quick endorsement for these little jewls -- last year I was fishing with another guy and we were both hammering them on Senkos - I was using the parasite clips and he wasn't - he went through an entire bag of Senkos while I used only two. basscubs1 Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 chuck ditto from shelbyville, il designed these things, they are great, try the clip on a paddle tail tube! i have been using them for about a year now and they have cut my cost in half for soft plastics. the weights are good also because you dont have use a tooth pick or bobber stop to peg the bait, also the weight alllows the lure to move a little more free. parasiteweights.com Quote
santeebasser24 Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 They are Awesome, a must have for terminal tackle. Everyone needs to check out the tungsten weights Parasite offers, they are on sale! God Bless! Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted January 18, 2008 Super User Posted January 18, 2008 Never really realized what a phenominal idea those were! Thought it was just a gimmick and never really paid attention when they first came out. Gotta get me some I reckon.(so says the monkey). Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted January 18, 2008 Super User Posted January 18, 2008 just had a chance to use the parasite weights today and they are great! its sooooo convinient to have it peg your weight and NEVER have to worry about your worm fouling on the hook!!!! very pleased Quote
Buzbait88 Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 The parasite weight and clip really are unbelievable. After using it one time I'm sure you'll be convinced. Your bait won't bunch up or slide down after a sharp jerk or in mid cast and as far as pegging the weight they are second to none as well. I'm sure everyone has stuck a toothpick in the end, after you cut the line the weight is no longer usable because you can't hardly stick the line through because the wood toothpick has swelled up inside the weight and screw on weights simply just ruin and tear up the end of your plastics. Parasite is the only way to go. Quote
