Fat-G Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 I got out to use my 7' HF Lowrider XG today, and it's a lot more flimsy than I thought it would be. It's really sensitive though. Anyways, can you use PowerPro on these rods? Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted December 31, 2009 Super User Posted December 31, 2009 You can use superlines with any rod. Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted December 31, 2009 Super User Posted December 31, 2009 G...have a look at the Diawa Samuri braid... Quote
Super User Raul Posted December 31, 2009 Super User Posted December 31, 2009 You can use superlines with any rod. as long as the guides can take it. That is a problem with older rods and rods with low quality guides, the braided line can groove them purty fast. Quote

Super User dodgeguy Posted December 31, 2009 Super User Posted December 31, 2009 IF THEY ARE AT LEAST FUJI HARDLOYS THE ANSWER WOULD BE YES.I WOULD GO WITH A BETTER BRAID SUCH AS FIRELINE BRAID OR DIAWA SAMURAI.oops, sorry on the caps lock.anyway powerpro is extremely rough and noisey compared to the other 2 lines. The Next KVD Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 I own alot of Lowriders and I use Power Pro on most of them and never had a problem with the line wearing a groove into the guides. Quote
