Anybody using or ever used Rogue Rods?

I've got a 6'6 MH spin/jig rod. Rogue makes EXCELLENT rods. I really think they are another underrated rod.

The one I have is super light and sensitive.

They aren't readily available though. I got the one I have from a friend who had several. The casting rods were nice too.

I once considered buying more, to build a matched arsenal but in the end the limited availability made me look elsewhere.

I own couple of them. The drop shot spinning rod w/ recoil guides and a flipping stick. They're very light and very sensitive. They're great rods.

I built and use several each of the Rogue MB664's and MB705's.  Sometimes the St. Croixs, Seekers, Shimanos, or other brands don't make it into the boat but the Rogues ALWAYS do.  I like their soft but fast tips and light weight.

I used to be sponsored by Rogue.  They make a fantastic rod.  Very light and super sensitive.  The MB 704's were my workhorses for sure.  I just wish they would concentrate a little more on the bass line up instead of the salmon/steelhead line.  I would recommend them to anyone.  Great rods.

The company is up by where we live. The have my son on their Jr. Pro Staff. They actually have a good line of bass rods. One of the great things about this company is that everything is made right here in the good old US of A. They create their own blanks here in Oregon. While they don't have some of the bells and whistles visually, they make a very sensitive rod. I'd like to see them more in the bass market. They used to sponsor Byron Velvick, and they make or made a Velvick model swimbait rod. I don't rep them or anything and it's not my brotherinlaw who owns the company. I just like that they are a local small business in an evergaining imported world.

Wasn't Rogue started by one of the Loomis family members?

Swimbasser I thought I heard the same thing but I'm not certain about that. I have a few Roque rods, I like the blanks they are sensitive. I've had a couple of minor issues like the cork on the handle needing to be reglued but nothing major. Overall, they make a nice rod for the money.

Rogue changed hands a few years ago. New owners are great people and I hope they can compete in the bass arena.

I've never used their warranty, but they do have a lifetime warranty.

Warranties - I broke the first Rogue I made in a screen door a week after I wrapped it. I asked about warranty via the retailer, told them how it happened, and they contacted Rogue. Rogue warrants defects in materials or workmanship, not user stupidity or abuse. But they sent me a new blank at cost and said they did so because it was refreshing to get an inquiry from someone telling the truth about how their rod got damaged. So, no, the Rogue warranty does not apply to "all and any risk" like Loomis. On the other hand, neither does Rogue charge an arm and a leg for their blanks like Loomis did to offset the cost of a "you break it, we replace it" warranty. Guys, there ain't no such animal as "free lunch". I think the Rogue warranty is reasonable given the prices they charge for their blanks, and their customer service is excellent.
