I use 10 for my lipless and shallow cranks, 12 for spooks and jerks, and 17 on multiple rods for spinnerbaits, soft swimbaits, light cover jig fishing, and light grasslines with texas rigs. Stuff is just amazing for the price. On my spinning gear it was a little to "kinky" for my liking so I went back to Seaguar for under 10 pound line.

Superior abrasion resistance, handles great, and a great price.

I have tried it a couple of times, not been very impressed so far.  I really like the BPS brand better at this time. 

It is very abrasion resistant, but it is also acts like a jack in the box sometimes as well.  Especially in the lighter weights 10lbs and under.  The line was also treated with KVD L&L before use.  I have used it on both BCs and spinning gear.

I used it last year. I tried that and BPS brand at the same time. I liked the BPS a bit better, seemed less brittle. Also, the BPS house brand can be found on sale from time to time.

I just got some spiderwire 100% flouro at gander on clearence for dirty cheap it was half off like 2 weeks ago! I went in there yesterday and it was an additional 25% off the sale price I bought them out! Ive used it b4 and liked it as much as the bps stuff!

My experiences have been similar to others. It's great for moderate/heavy line. Very limp, strong, and abrasion resistant. I didn't fish it with any baits that require powerful hooksets so I can't comment on it's impact strength other than the fact that I never had it break while fishing spinnerbaits or buzzbaits.

For lighter line, I like Seaguar Invizx because it seems limper and more manageable.

I have used 8# test on my spinning reels with no issue.  Have also used the 12# on a few baitcasters again with no issues.  I used P-Line 100% flouro in the past.  I used the Trilene 100% as my supplier was out of the P-Line and I have not switched back.  I have had no issues at all.  I was a little shy about jumping back on the Trilene wagon after all the issues I had with Vanish.

Used it a bunch this summer in 17# test with both football head jigs and magnum shaky heads and had no problems with either. Drug around a lot of rocks and hard bottom areas and don't remember having any breakoffs. Just be careful with backlashes and check frequently for nicking, like most other fluoros.

I think it's great. I hated vanish. I hated both types of p-line flouro. I hated the vicious. With all of those I had break offs during casts that were the result of kinks or nicks. I was just about done with ever trying flouro again. I'm not often swayed by pros because most of them will say anything for a sponsor. I watched a hank parker show. He also said that he never liked flouro until he tried the berkley 100%. I bought some in the 15lb size I had great results on my casting reels. I now have used it for 2 seasons and have it on 90% of my casting reels. I can tie any knot I want and don't worry about the knot breaking from a kink. I tried the 10lb on a spinning reel and decided it was still just a bit to stiff in that size for a spinning reel. It had a lot of coil off problems. I switched to 8 and 6 lb 100% on spinning rigs and it works great. If I need heavier than that I use braid for spinning. The 100% is sensitive. It's low stretch. Very abrasion resistant. I also like the fact that it's available in green. Flouro has a similar refractive index to water, but it can still be seen. I use the light green. It blends in and it doesn't glow in the sun. I have not tried any of the other brands discussed. I think that the new stren 100% is probably very similar.

I use the 20lb for flipping milfoil and other moderate grass and really love it.  I've also used 17lb for casting weightless senkos with an MBR844C IMX and Curado 200D.  I've always used the KVD Line Conditioner with it so I imagine that makes a substantial difference, but either way, it is the best Flourocarbon I've used.

Didn't care for it's manageability....too stiff for my liking.It's not as bad as P-line CXX but it's a pretty close second.I also point to the BPS XPS fluorocarbon...I had the least amount of problems with that brand.

Then again,I'm not really a big fan of fluorocarbon for main line usage.

It is the best fluoro on the market.  Abrasion resistance is close to PLine CXX, strength is above average.  Less memory than CXX.

I'll be giving the Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon line a whirl this coming season. But I gotta tell ya....I get a real chuckle out of some of the comments about Berkley Vanish.

Been using it now for 6 full seasons on various rigs (spinning rigs). Have had no problems or difficulties using it at all. I think all the negativity come from the low cost of this line, as opposed to some of it's competitors. There probably are some folks that have "issues" with it; but I'm not one of them.

The only reason I'm going to try the new version is that someone gave me a couple of spools of it. So, we'll see how it goes.
