Whats the best mono, copoly, fluoro lines that you have used?

-Sensitivity

-Strength/Abrasion resistance to diameter

-Value

-Lowest or no memory

I use only Yo Zuri in 8lb for spinning and 10lb for casting. Which types of line to you guys use and why?

I've been using Suffix Siege 12 & 14lb. green mono for years, and it's hands down one of the best mono's out there in my book.  It casts a mile, great sensitivity, & very durable.

For copoly, I've only used AN40 Silver thread, and it's decent... haven't used it in a while though, because the suffix seems a lot better.

Never used Floro.

I don't use Fluoro,,all braid here,,but when I do fish Stone Walls and roadbeds,,any rocks like that,I do use a leader of P-Line CXX. Very VERY  very good stuff.

I like Suffix Elite for mono, Yo-Zuri Hybrid and P-Line CX for copoly and Trilene 100% for fluorocarbon. The Suffix Elite is far and away my favorite mono. It is strong and has very low memory, even in heavier weights. The Yo-Zuri and P-Line are both super strong and have low memory in weights less than 12#. They are both so strong though that for my use 12# is more than enough. I don't really like fluoro that much but the Trilene 100% was the easiest to manage out of the few that I have tried. In my opinion the copoly offers the best of both worlds, low stretch and added sensitivity with a lot of strength. In my opinion 10# is perfect for bait casters!

Spinning tackle: #6 Yo-Zuri Hybrid or Hybrid Ultra Soft

Baitcasting gear: Hybrid #12

I prefer Gamma CoPoly over YoZuri US, but due to its high price I only buy it when it's significantly discounted. The #10 works very well on 2500 size spinning reels, although #6 still has plenty of strength. In my limited experience, Gamma is the most manageable line I've used. Also in my experience, I've had fewer backlash issues with #10 & #12 Gamma than with #12 YZ-US.

I also like the Gamma Clear Blue color.

i throw swimbaits ( the big ones , not hollow bodies ) so the best line i have used for this application is IZORLINE XXX . i use 25-30 lb. line for baits 4-13 oz. and 20 lb. line for baits 2-4 oz. , i originaly used P-LINE CXX but that stuff coils way too much and wears out after a few outings ,plus if you get a kink in it , you will get broken off >;) , i have casted way to many baits off to go back to using that stuff ( i do use 6 lb. CXX for my spinning set-up ) IZORLINE XXX is alot more smoother and managable plus doesn't kink up hardly ever . it is also very strong and shock absorbent !!!! :D

btw , this line is a co-polymer line ....

I've thrown off plenty of Musky lures due to superbraid with ZERO stretch. It's a sickening feeling watching a $25 lure you know sinks sail away unattached to anything. ;D

I also switched to the Izorline XXX for several of my setups from Berkley 100% Flouro not because I didn't like the Berkley, but because this stuff is so much cheaper and still produced great results for me.  A 1/4lb spool  of this stuff is about half the price of a 200 yard spool of the Berkley.  I don't cry every time I have to restring my reels now.
