Super User Crestliner2008 Posted December 18, 2009 Super User Posted December 18, 2009 Do you still catch fish with it? If so, it's a keeper! Quote

LAO162 Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Given the company around here, the issue shouldn't be how may years between rod purchases, it's how many rods per year that you should be buying. ;D ;D More seriously though, if you like your current rod, continue to enjoy it. However, if you're looking to justify a new purchase, I'm sure the baitmonkey is close by and will help you to quadruple your planned budget Quote
zerofivenismo Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Sorry, I'm no help to your inquiry. But I'm just astonished that you've eluded the bait monkey this long. I should check myself into bait monkey anomynous...tomorrow. Agree that if it still catches fish, then keep on using it. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 18, 2009 Super User Posted December 18, 2009 If you are using the old rod to fish "moving" lures, I don't think it makes much difference. However, you need a new rod for jigs and soft plastics. Today's technology makes old rods obsolete. Quote
