Fat-G Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Anyone tried these? They're really cool looking. Quote
NHfroggin Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I have the 7'2" Pitch and Skip, i like it alot, i use it for jigs in heavy cover, small swim baits, big ribbon tail worms, and frogs. Rod has plenty of power when frog fishing in the thick and its sensitivity is great. For 90$ its a great rod. -matt- Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted December 14, 2009 Super User Posted December 14, 2009 where did you find it for $90? They used to be sub $100 rods, I think $109 for the 8 footer, I see they are considerably more now though. on second thought maybe they started at $109 but they used to be less Quote
shimanogloomis man Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 My brother has one i beleive its the 7'2 baitcasting one he likes it but ive fished with it and to me its very uncomfortable its tip heavy the reel seat is wider then all my other rods that i have and def not the lightest rod out there for 110 bucks. To me it just dosnt feel crisp and sensitive.. again this is what i experenced Quote
NHfroggin Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 where did you find it for $90? Northern Bass Supply, a local Tackle shop had them for 90$, i know they don't have them in the store anymore but they might on their website. -matt- Quote
