The Abu's do look great have not tried one but I have bought some of the New Skeet Reese Series Wright and McGill rods and they are sweet they are black and Yellow and are flashy but I like them and they have a lifetime warranty my local tackle shop will replace them on the spot. My favorite one is the 7'-6" Swimbait/Carolina Rig Rod. These rods are $89.99 almost everywhere I would check them out before I mad a decision they are designed for the Abu Garcia Revo's specifically but will work well with any reel. I dont think you can go wrong with them IMO. Good Luck!

That skeet reese rod has really nice grips on it and feels nice holding it, but that highlighter yellow looks hideous and it doesn't seem to balance as well as the vendetta. I can't wait to check out the BuCoo's though.

I did check out the SR rods while I picked up my last reel.  And the feel of it felt really good.  But that big bright big bird yellow just wasn't setting well with me.  I like the stealthy look of the Vendetta's, thats kind of what drew me into them.  That look kind of reminds me of a F117 that is coming in on a mission, finds it's target, locks on and strikes.  I know I know kind of crazy  ;D  Then the price, then the way they felt in my hand.

I finally got to feel these rods and I too walk away pretty impressed at how they feel in hand.

However, this impression goes only for the casting rods. They felt great and at this price point it is practically a steal and a half.

I cannot say the same about their spinning rod counterparts. They did not feel the same in my hands at all.  They felt "heavier" than they looked.

If I were to buy one, I would only choose a casting model. I'd take it over a mojo too.
