Super User Micro Posted October 31, 2009 Super User Posted October 31, 2009 Canadian domestic market. :-? Anyway, looks like Rapala is turning out some nice bass rods for our neighbors to the north. Shouldn't be too much to acquire some down here... http://www.rapala.ca/products/rapala/shift.php Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted October 31, 2009 Super User Posted October 31, 2009 I wonder what their price range will be ? Quote
Super User Micro Posted October 31, 2009 Author Super User Posted October 31, 2009 I saw on another forum the Shift will be around $150. Quote
Skunked in DR Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 I've handled a few of the R-Types. Nice rods, well-made just a touch heavy. The Shift's looks like they're introducing a new higher end rod. Hmm, time to call around and see who's got some in stock. Quote
nUgZ Posted November 1, 2009 Posted November 1, 2009 d**n those look amazing!! If they're really $150 and fish anywhere near as good as they look I'll have a few. Quote
Super User senile1 Posted November 2, 2009 Super User Posted November 2, 2009 Appearances can be deceiving but these do look nice. I'm looking forward to more information on these. At that price, this could be a nice rod. Quote
Garry2Rs Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I contacted Gagnon's a well known sporting goods store in Oshawa Ontario. I know that they stock Rapala's new Canadian line of rods and reels. They told me they don't have any prices yet. The first rods are shipping around Xmas. They suggested I check back after that new year. These rods resemble the E-21 product...E-21's address is in Toronto Ontario!?!? Makes you wonder doesn't it... Quote
bigtimfish Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 look nice, but IMO not enough selection on the casting rods. Quote
b.Lee Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I think they look cool, sort of on the vendetta side of things Quote
