If the baitcaster is really noisy when I cast, what could be the main cause of that?

And, does anybody have a video or web page to a great strong tieing knot that is pretty simple to do?

Could need a good cleaning, send it to a reel repair shop if it's a special one. Some reels aren't worth getting repaired cost wise. But, a cleaning costs around $8.

I myself don't mess with cleaning them. One time I took a reel apart and  BOING springs and gears went everywhere. LOL

You don't say what baitcaster. Has it ever been serviced?

Could be bearings are dry, could be to lose of a cc adjustment (caused by other problems), could be bad shims, etc.

I do my own cleaning, and lubing..I did find out 1 thing re: reel service...most places that I inquired about doing a service and bearing upgrade, won't touch Okuma, or BPS reels...I happen to have a bps extrem which was making some noise while cranking, I tightened all the screws, cleaned and reoiled it..works fine...for now.. ;D

i know when i got my quantum accurist pt. i took it out a few days later and started slinging spinnerbaits with it and ten minutes in i started getting bearing whine... that turned quickly into screams.

not having any oil with me i set it down and later oiled the spool bearing and the bearing under the spool tensioner.

it casts like a dream now.

maybe this is your problem? these two spots are easy to access and oil with a good oil (abu garcia oil of course)

I guess I will just take it to the local shop and have them clean it because I took out the 3 screws on the handle side to pull the reel apart and it wouldnt budge.

If you have never broken down a BC reel before then don't start now. You can use the discount link provided below and ship it to me, or take it to a local shop...
