reddragon Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 has anyone used this line and how is it on a baitcaster??? ill probably be using 10, 12 pound test.. i usually use p-line, but im tired of the old green and clear and wanted to try ande because of their varities of colors.. Quote
Infidel. Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 I used to use it all the time in salt water. Not the thinest line and it does have quite a bit of memory but it is very strong and the price is right. Quote
Super User Micro Posted October 19, 2009 Super User Posted October 19, 2009 The thing about Ande is that it breaks right at the test weight. None of this "10 lb test that breaks at 12.5 lbs" stuff. That's why so many fishermen seeking records use it. Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted October 20, 2009 Super User Posted October 20, 2009 More world records have been caught on Ande than any other line. I use it.. Quote
mrlitetackle Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 hands down my favorite line for mono.... until about 8 or 9 months ago (when i switched to all braid) ande was my only choice...... fresh and salt. its a strong line, for a great price.... that i have caught nearly all of my fish on in the past. Super User SirSnookalot Posted October 20, 2009 Super User Posted October 20, 2009 I have not used it my self, but know some down here in Florida that would not use anything else on their conventional reels. Records speak for themselves, that's reputation. I do not use floro leaders, but use Ande 30 & 40# for my leader stock. Quote
