Koop Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Spiderwire makes some good mono, but thats about it. What you using it for? Quote
JigMe Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I am using the mono #4 for crappie, perch fishing on UL rod and it works great. Quote
GRiver Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 I had spiderwire 4# on my UL worked great..it was very clear and hard to see..but I likes the sensitivity and it cast pretty good too. Had it on for a while too with a lot of memory, thought it was good line for the money. I have switched to trilene XL smooth cast by Berkley though. Quote
GRiver Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 OOPS with out a lot of memory...sorry about that.. Quote

Kinda re thinking the 4# decision though. 4# would work if it is very very clear water, I use 6# fluoro for smallies on my drop shot and tube set ups. Quote
