Well I am going to the factory at Park Falls sometime within a few months I have a choice between any of the rods. The rod I will be buying is a factory-reject so it will be at over half the price off! So what would you choose off of the upper end section?

Just curious....what's the nature of the reject ? cosmetic ? flaw in the cork ?

Avid, Legend Tournament, or Legend Elite. Premiers are OK, but when the rods are offered at a discount go higher end, you won't be sorry.

The St. Croix that I use for most soft plastics is the 7' Medium Casting Legend Elite. If you like a shorter rod go with the 6'8".

7' Medium Elite or 6'8 M XF Elite. If you don't like the ACS reel seats or want a split grip then I would look at the Legend Tournament in the same lengths/actions. Let me know what you find up there. I may need to take a trip sometime soon. You down Koopa?  :)

I'd be looking for a feel rod... and looking at the Legend Elites or Legend Extremes only since they will be over half off and I'd only buy something with an obvious cosmetic flaw, there by reducing your chances of getting something with a goof in the actual build.

You cant go wrong with an Avid or Legend Elite. If the prices are good pick up a St Croix MOJO crankbait rod. I know many will bash this rod. But I absolutely love this rod.
