Hey,

I bought a revo S. finally got around to playing with it. I noticed when cranking the reel, it has a slight stuck feeling about every second.

Anyone know anything about this? is it fixable? that would suck if it wasnt.

You may have some debris in the level wind pinion shaft or something in one of the teeth of the main drive gear depending on just how often you have that stuck feeling.  I'm betting it has to do with the level wind assembly though.

I have had this problem with both of mine.  All I do is disassemble it, clean it really good, re-lube and re-assemble and it fixes it.  I think it is dirt in the worm gear that causes it, due to it being exposed.  I pull the worm gear out completely and clean it really good then put it back together.  Two drops of oil and crank a few times, good to go!

When you say finally got around to playing with it. How long?

Is it new in the box? If so send it back.. :D

Could be a whole host of things that are binding, or just a couple, or just that you haven't set the reel up and are using the settings as it came out of the box.... 8-)

But if it is new and still in warranty (1 yr) I would send it back for replacement or refund....

Good Luck & Tight Lines!!!
