I'm trying to put this line on my spinning reel.  Power Pro instructions for their EZ Spool system goes against traditional instructions for spooling a spinning reel.

Anyone using this line with spinning tackle have problems with line twist?

Whatever you do, make sure you put mono on first as a backing or the braid will spin around on the spool. Then you will think your drag is bad.

I fill my spool about halfway with mono and then use a blood knot to attach to the braid and then finish spooling from there. It really doesn't matter how you spool braid, it will not twist on you. It's a waste of money to fill most of the spool with braid (IMO) as you will never get down to the mono backing while fishing normally.

Lastly I use a leader with braid. I happen to use mono. A lot of guys use fluorocarbon. It comes down to personal preference. Google 'leader to braid knots' and their are lots of good sites that will show you the proper knots.

Roger that on the mono backing!  I do that on my baitcasters.  I was just concerned that the PP instructions go against what I've been taught.  But now I know that you can't twist braid that the PP method would probably be alright.  But I still think that one should still spool the traditional way.  I'll just do what PP says to do.

Don't worry, just do what the box says. Like you realized, its not going to matter because braid doesn't twist.

I don't care what brand of braid you use.  That being said I use braid nearly 100% of the time.  I tape or tie (I may be wasting money but I do not use backing ) then just spool it up, never a twist issue.  But what I will do is to troll my line or let the current of an inlet or river strip my line out and reel it back in, makes a very tight spool.
