Not saying it's the best Paul, but I'm currently using Berkley Fireline Tracer Braid.

The line color alternates in 30" bands between chartreuse-green & moss-green (hi vis & lo-vis).

Since it contains two different color tones, it's reasonably visible against most backgrounds,

but unfortunately the intensity of the chartreuse fades rather soon.

I think Stren makes a Sonic braid that is Hi-Vis Yellow.

Daiwa has two, Saltiga and Boat, they are mulitcolor. They are made like the Samurai.

I've seen Bill Dance using the hi-vis Sonic, but I have not seen it in stores. I am using the Stren Superbraid in the gold color that has been discontinued in favor of the Sonic (I think). I also color about 1/3 of the line on the reel spool with red softbait lure dye to get alternating red/gold. It is very easy to see with polarized glasses.

I also use the Fireline Tracer Braid but the colors fade comparatively quickly.

The red/gold has been cast few thousand times and will need re-dying with the red for next year:

Thanks all.

Wayne, Sonic has replaced Superbraid, according to their website. It's more expensive than PP and SW -which is all I've used so far. Looks like I'm going to have to order something on-line as local shops carry green only.
