Just ordered a new reel, looking to try some new line on it.

Any suggestions on brand and LB test for shallow to mid crankbaits and jerkbaits?

Currently i think im running 10 lb berkley big game not 100% sure it's been on there a while lol.

I've been using 10lb P-line Flouro-clear for those applications and have had no problems.  It stretches a bit more than CXX which I normally use.  I would also say 10lb CX or yo-zuri hybrid or 8lb CXX.

I like the Pline florclear as well for both those aps.  8lb for the jb's and 10lb for cb's.

Though for crankbaits if I'm in heavy shallow cover I sometimes go with 12lb Trilene XL.  It's flotation helps lures "back out" when you get them under a limb and I just seem to get hung with it less in that situation.  Its just more foregiving around would-be snags.

I really don't like the Floroclear, I would suggest Yo-Zuri in 10# or else go with a true Fluoro like Seaguar InivisX in 8 or 10#
