Perfect Hook Set Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Northland Slurpies Holographic dip sticks Has any of you used them? How well do they work compared to other senko baits? Are they durable? They look like they would work well in many conditions I was at a baitshop recently and was able to check them out, they have an extreme smell and are very soft. owner had a sample I have a pick of a 6 color kit they have out for sale if any one wants to see it just let me know Quote
The Next KVD Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Slurpies are AWESOME!!! They work really well compared to the senko. Also thanks to Dean Rojas there are even more slurpies. They inlclude the Brush Beaver, a sweet beaver like bait, and the Jungle Hog, a Brush Hog bait. Quote
Perfect Hook Set Posted January 6, 2008 Author Posted January 6, 2008 even though I have more stick baits then I need I might pick some up Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Super User Posted January 6, 2008 Just curious, why would you ask, "are they durable", when talking about a stick bait? That's the last thing I would consider, if at all. Stick baits are meant to be soft; in order to get the desired wounded minnow action on the initial drop. Stiff, hard, durable sticks don't catch fish; if they do, they probably don't catch as many. This is from what experience I've had with the Mann's hard nose and gulp knock-offs. JMO Quote
Perfect Hook Set Posted January 6, 2008 Author Posted January 6, 2008 They could be soft yet durable... The GY senkos tear after one decent fish fight where tiki or bps senkos last for many fish without falling apart Quote
