J P Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Hey just ordered a few Bucoos from Falcon.. anyone used the 7'0" MH casting? I was really excited to get it, but read 1 review that it is a really soft rod that is probably better for cranking . already got 3 cranking rods... anyone got one? Quote
fishntime Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 I actully bought the Mh and returned it. It is a very soft rod, really light and well balanced but way to soft for my taste. I returned this rod for the H, and still this rod is a little to soft in my opinion. Hope this helps. Quote

J P Posted August 14, 2009 Author Posted August 14, 2009 finally returned from vacation and got my BuCoos. I think the 7MH is fine!.. very very light-weight and sensitive. A lot more than my falc originals. And for those who say it is the same blank as an original, it is not. the 7MH Bucoo is probably more suited for smaller soft plastics rather than jigs, but I will post tomorrow when I set the hook on one. I talk directly to falcon and got the all the info. I also use the originals too, and can tell you from first hand exp. Its different graphite Quote

OIFBasser Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 I have a 7MH lowrider, and recently picked up a 7MH Bucoo. It is a little softer, but prefer it for weightless t-rigs and lighter jignpigs. IMO if you're used to stouter rods; you could call it extra medium fast ( i think they call it mag medium, not sure.) For a bill, it is a great rod for me, but I don't really use the stouter rods much anyways. Quote
