Just going through the new Bass Times and as usually Berkley usually has a whole 2 page article on one of their pro's talking about seasonal stuff and mentioning all Pure Fishing products.

Well, what caught my eye was the pic of Berkley PowerBait Hollow Body. Another BassTrix Paddle Tail Tube imitation. I must say thought he paint job looks really good, better than any of the other immitation Paddle Tail Tubes. Perhaps the best part is since it is Berkley, they will be pretty cheap. Anything is better than $26 a pack off ebay for 3.

Anybody seen them for sale yet???

According to there website they will not be availabe until Feb. 2008.

Take care,

Ya, I'm sure they will be for sale at the Classic, I'll have to stock up and give them a shot.

The fish here seem to love berkley baits as well.I'll pick up a pack for sure if it isn't too costly.Knowing berkley they seem to be fair in their pricing.

I think they'd be stupid NOT to get  into paddle tails. It seems that there is lots of money to be made in swimbaits these days.

I like most of Berkley's stuff so I'm looking forward to seeing these baits.

Agreed. Every Berkley product that I have fished has produced some nice fish. Not into there GULP!,  but there original formula stuff is top notch.

$9.95 for three seems kinda steep.  Especially if they only hold up as well as the "other" hollow bodies supposedly do.

Just remember kids....You were catching bass before these came out, and you will catch them even if you dont buy these.   ;)

That doesnt mean I wouldnt try them though   ::)

I'm looking into my crystal ball here and saying there will be every major manufacturer on this band wagon within this year.

That was a tough prediction LOL

It is going to be the same as when the senko hit big. I'm sure Yum and Bass Pro shops already has prototypes.. :;)

For sure.

When will all the other manufacturers beside basstrix make a hollow bodied minnow/jerkbait? Is it always about the paddletail? Thats not even new, the real breakthrough is the whole hollow-bodied aspects of these lures.
