Super User skunked_again Posted August 5, 2009 Super User Posted August 5, 2009 i know how passionate we are about our gear but i had to poke a little fun here at the Pflueger reel guys...... it is a pink Pflueger baitcaster.........lol....not that anyone would say anything if your buddy shows up with one. Stasher1 Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 That would probably be the "Lady Endeavor" combo. They also have three versions of the "Lady Trion" combo in spinning, spincast, and underspin. http://www.pfluegerfishing.com/products/index.php From Pflueger's site: A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Pflueger ladies products will go to charities that benefit the early detection of breast cancer. Cool stuff. Quote
The_Natural Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 It's kind of rad, granted the rod it's on sucks. And yes, I said rad. I'm initiating a comeback..... Quote
Super User islandbass Posted August 5, 2009 Super User Posted August 5, 2009 I like the color pink. Maybe not that shade of pink on a reel too much, but I've seen a pink reel over at TT that I think was a high end Daiwa that would be a sweet addition to my or anyone else's arsenal. Quote
Lucky Craft Man Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 My wife isn't all that into fishing, but since I bought her a Lady Trion pink combo, her interest seems to have increased. So say what you will about the pink rod and reel, I know it has gotten my wife out on the water with me more often. Quote
catchbig0bass Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Ill second that notion. Im thinking on picking up the gf one of these combos or at least the reel. She will go nuts over a pink reel, common haha. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted August 5, 2009 Super User Posted August 5, 2009 I thinks it good that pflueger is donating a portion of the earnings toward breat cancer detection. I've been and ultrasound tech full time coming a year in Oct. and it's sad and scary to see women come in for an ultrasound because they felt something but didn't go to the doctor because they don't have insurance or they just didn't want to deal with it and you can immediately tell its cancer from the first picture.
