BassFishingMachine Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 Ok just wanted to know everyones opinion on their favorite softbait for flipping. Im just getting into flipping and I already have Jigs for flipping. I just wanted to know some softbaits that are good for flipping. So whats everyones favorite softbait for flipping, and if your favorite isn't a choice on the poll or its a knock off of one of the choices listed, please post what it is. Cburgerjr35 Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Strike King RAGE TAIL Craw Net Bait PACA Craw Gambler Ugly Otter Quote
Joel W Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 I really like to pitch either a 3/8 oz wt'd curly tail worm tx rigged or a Baby brush Hog. Going to go with the Ugly Otter by Gambler as my primary pitching plastic this coming year as I've heard only good things about it. Quote
bassdocktor Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 If it itsn't a jig I've usually got a tube tied on. Color varies but usually someting dark. Probably one of the original Schubert tubes or Venom. Quote
Willzx225 Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Before this last year I would have said that I would normally flip a tube or a baby brush hog but after putting some time in flipping the Paca Craw, I think I have found a good bait that combines a little of both actions of the tube and brush hog. It is a great bait for flipping! I also like to flip a Zoom Speed Craw in river systems and high pressure situations. It offers a good amount of vibration but it is still small enough to not put bass on guard. Quote
