I have technique specific rigs, but they handle a number of lures

within a class. As far as making adjustments, once I have a reel

"dialed in", it rarely gets any adjustment.

That's because they're shimanos for sure, right?.   ;) Just set it and practically forget it. My sentiments precisely.  8-)

Mine are associated around line... I fish certain lines for certain situations... if the bait can be fished on this line then I'll switch it... how can you tie on a top-water plug to reel with Fluoro on it?

I WAS NOT DEPRIVED AS A CHILD ODS WITH THE SAME CRANKBAIT ON I JUST WANT A ROD AND REEL FOR EACH LURE AND SOMETIMES THREE OR FOR FOR EACH LURE OF DIFFRENT COLLORS OR I RUN THREE RTHEM EACH IN DIFFRENT DEPTH . SPINNERBAITS IN DIFFRENT WEIGHTS FOR EACH DEPTH . EACH MIN I SPEND SEARCHING FOR BAITS AND RE TIEING IS A MIN THAT MY LURE ISNT IN THE WATER AND IM NOT ABLE TO CATCH A FISH. IN A TOURNEY THAT GET IMPORTANT IM SURE I DONT HAVE TO TELL YOU GYES THAT . FOR THE GYES THAAT CANT AFFORD THAT MANY RODS AND REELS I WOULD SUGGEST SAVING YOUR MONEY AND GET AS MANY AS YOU CAN IM SURE EVERYONE WILL AGREE THE TIME YOU SAVE I WORTH THE 500 DOLLARSIS PRITTY CHEEP FOR A NEW ROD TO SAVE YOU TIME
a rod/reel for each lure and lure color...im going to assume you dont have to many lures then cause otherwise youd have 200 setups (that sponser of yours must be pretty ligit huh ::) )uhh not to be an ahole but the fine ppl here at bassresource have outfitted the text boxes with a spell checker... ;) and btw going out and buying as many rods and reels as you can..whats that gonna do for you??? besides make your boat probably take on water and you look like the local moron lugging your entire garage to the lake? or is this one of those competitions to see who has the biggest, best and most of ?i wouldt brag on here most of these fellas on here that help everyone out can probably out fish ppl on here with a zebco, much respect to those guys....its not what you got,but how you use it

I have 13 reels for every bait, and you can't fish unless you have at least that many.  Seriously....don't make excuses....you NEED 13 reels per bait to even be considered a decent bass fishman.

i use spinning gear......

no "dialing in" found here........

....and love light tackle,

so 1 or 2 setups do me just fine on every outing that i have!!!!!

(one light, and one REALLY light)....

and, yes, i even through large swimbaits on them.....

call me crazy,,,,,,

but its fun!!!! ;):):D

if you dont mind me asking , what do your two setups consist of?

I notice it just on reels...so IMO....

I care more about the rod than i do of the reel. The rods define which type of fishing i plan to do.The reel doesn't.

Light/finesse -spinning reel

Everything else-Baitcaster reel

I do have one reel that's 4:7.1 that's for crankbaits and only crankbaits.Everything else works both ways.

You also want your reel to balance out....you don't want to put a big size spinning reel on a ultra light combo. It's going to be very unbalance and hard to fish with through out the day.

Hey Grimlin, did you mean 4.7:1 ratio on that reel?

Just checkin'
