adclem Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 The BPS brand fluorocarbon is very good line, it is what I currently use. I have also heard good things about the new Berkley Professional Grade Fluorocarbon, but I have not tried any of it yet. I have also heard lots of good things about the Lake Fork Hybrid Fluorocarbon. DINK WHISPERER Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 BPS XPS is the strongest fluoro by far imo! its all i use now. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted July 27, 2009 Super User Posted July 27, 2009 When it comes to managability, Trilene or Stren 100% beat the pants off of XPS flourocarbon. XPS isn't bad line, but it tends to shear more than any other flourocarbon I've tried. Quote
Super User RoLo Posted July 27, 2009 Super User Posted July 27, 2009 Berkley Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon. Roger Quote
Poolie727 Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 After trying several different fluoro's I've settled on Seaguar Red Label as the one I like best for now. I haven't tried the XPS yet, but had heard others say good things. My next order from BPS will include a spool of it just so I can try it myself. Quote
Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted July 27, 2009 Super User Posted July 27, 2009 you can't go wrong with BPS flouro , it is made by Seaguar .... Quote

If I'm not mistaken, XPS fluorocarbon is manufactured by Toray. There are only a handfull of fluorocarbon manufacturers in Germany and Japan. Quote

chevy2junk Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Seaguar invisix is exceptionally managable I have it on spinning and casting rods.Costs a little more but if your using it on spinning its money well spent. Quote
