Cburgerjr35 Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 I love them...I caught fish just swimming them with 3/4 tungstun weight, in terrible conditions...They are also a great pitching bait...the Atails make a lot of vibration..I recommend. Quote
flippin Posted December 25, 2007 Author Posted December 25, 2007 cool i got some as an alternative to the paca craw hopefullly the have a little differnt action Quote
HogHooker Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 rig it on a spinner bait, plain jig, skirted jig, buzzbait or texas style this thing works, its a good bait, and comes in alot of good colours Quote
flippin Posted December 25, 2007 Author Posted December 25, 2007 i got summer craw and okachobee craw Quote
HogHooker Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 summer craw i like for clear water or on a hot day, fish them on a jig or texas style. Okachobee i'd fish on the spinnerbait or skirted jig to give it a little extra flash and body Quote
Big-O Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 Lot of money being won on these lately and they are now my favorite craws and chunks. Been throwing them alot since Fall and hammering the fish. Claws stay on even in the junk, thats a plus and they have absolutely awesome action both fast and super slow. even on the fall with 3/16 oz weight or jig, claws still going wacko. I don't leave home without them. Quote
Super User Tin Posted December 25, 2007 Super User Posted December 25, 2007 Ragetail, Paca, UltraVibe Speed Craw, they all pretty much do the same thing. : Quote

flippin Posted December 25, 2007 Author Posted December 25, 2007 pacas are my fav but these came highly recomended from an elite series pro Quote
Cory20 Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 How are the thickness of the ragetail claws compared to paca? thicker, thinner, about the same? The Kickin Craw, by roboworm, has great action but the claws are thin and panfish make short work of them. Quote
Cburgerjr35 Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 The OKACHOBEE CRAW is my best flavor in this one.....The PACA craw is a little longer in length to me, and the Rage falls alittle faster.... As far as action of the Claws - Rage and PACA have about the same... FLW PRO recommended to me ,also....went fishing with him...he threw the RAGE TAIL ..I threw the PACA....He wore me out, BUT then again...He's a PRO , he's supposed to, huh ? Quote
flippin Posted December 25, 2007 Author Posted December 25, 2007 the rage tail is a lttle thicker tan a paca and a solid body instead of a hollow body Quote
Brad_Coovert Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 The new Rage baits kick butt. They have great action and move very easily. The Rage baits as well as the Paca baits swim very easily. IMO, they are much better than the ZOOM Speed Craws as fars as swimming, but as with all baits, everyone has a preference. Brad Quote
Mid-MO Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 How tough are they? I love the Paca chuncks - great color selection, great action, great results. The only negative is that they tear so easily. I'm lucky if I can catch two fish on one without losing a claw. Is the Strike King version going to last longer? Thanks Quote
Brad_Coovert Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 I usually do not have too much problems with baits tearing up. Usually by the time I have one come apart, it's time for it to go anyway from too much abuse from fish. The Rage baits seem to have a stronger plastic when comparing both baits in hand and in use, they have held up well so far. Brad Quote
Big-O Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Legs hang on better than paca and have much better action at slopw movement and great at fast as well, love the chunks too. Quote
BassFishingMachine Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I ordered a couple packs of these, and with all the positive comments I think im going to be happy . Don't know if they'll produce better then the paca did for me though. Quote
Big-O Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 I don't throw Paca any more unless I run out of Ragetails. Color on Rages hasn't mattered much as well, guess the fish are psyched on the action. Quote
