foul hooked Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Do you think a cave man had just one spear? The bait monkey is older than the thumb. Quote
Super User Tin Posted November 27, 2007 Super User Posted November 27, 2007 I'm starting to give in, just cant fend him off. I want another 6'9" MH Carrot Stick and about 500 *** Beaver craws. Quote
HookedinNY Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Curse you Bait Monkey! I fought you off for a week now, every night trolling the internet looking at all those lures shiny and new, just knowing they would catch fish. Minimizing the page when my wife comes into the room so as not to get caught ogling that which is not mine. Searching, searching, searching for the best prices as if somehow that would justify spending more money on fishing equipment that I probably won't even be able to use until March. A week with my finger hovering over the "submit order" button several times mustering the strength to fight you off...until today. Now a new agony as I wait for my "fix" to ship to me cursing my new nemesis, UPS. Heaven forbid a "backorder" email arrives. Curse you Bait Monkey it is going to be a long, long winter. :-/ Quote
maxke01 Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 the bait monkey has struck three times within the past week at my home, wish he would just leave me alone and let spring come before he starts bothering me Quote
HookedinNY Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I hear ya brother. Until this summer I hadn't fished since I was a kid using worms on a hook. Now I can't believe how weak I have become when facing off with the Bait Monkey. Does he ever go away? Quote

Big-O Posted December 25, 2007 Posted December 25, 2007 Tis the season to decorate your tree with the assorted colors of all of those different baits you bought last year and did'nt use. Makes a great conversation piece when the family comes by on Christmas Day and maybe they will help you add to your collection next year. Oh NO! Now the Bait Monkey has got them and they don't even fish, He is a sly Devil! Quote
HookedinNY Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 Credit card.....online ordering.....BAIT MONKEY = Big Trouble. Well I got tired of looking at those LC and Megabass lures so I got busy and ordered some....I hope I get to the mailbox first the day the bill for this arrives. It's a conspiracy. Yep, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!! Quote
guitarkid Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 the only thing that got decorated was the inside of the ol tacklebox. forget the whole jolly thing. tis the season to succomb to the baitmonkey. to try and fend him off try shopping with someone who does not fish. and stay off the internet. Oscar O. Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 It would be hard to stay off the internet with this site being here in the first place! I always find myself looking up different products and clicking on all sorts of links in different posts! I just can't help it!!! ;D Quote
Super User Alpster Posted January 2, 2008 Super User Posted January 2, 2008 I don't really need to buy any new fishing stuff. I have been collecting fishing gear for 35 years and I'm not addicted yet! I can quit any time I want! I don't have to have it, I don't really need it, it's just really nice......you know what I mean....... ;D Ronnie Quote
