What specs for a BC rod using:

-T-Rig/Weightless T-Rig

-Spinnerbaits/Buzzbaits

-Frogs/Poppers

-Cranks

-Jig & Pig

This may be a dumb question but if on a spinning reel I use my left hand to reel should I do the same with my BC or is it mostly preference?

Also what brand, test, and type (mono, floro, braid) would be the best for each setup?

I'm trying to find a new setup and just want to make sure i make all the right purchases.

Thanks!

Thanks. Are the Cabela's XML good? Or would I be better off going with Carrot Stick or All Star?

I've read alot of posts both here and at TFF that carrot stix are breaking left and right.  I've had no problems at all.  I set the hook on a probable world record stump on Weds night and the rod just absorbed it.  IDK if I'd be crazy about flippin with one, but they definitely have their place.

The XML's are excellent rods... and if the one(s) you want are on sale right now... you'll be getting a "steal".
