what lures and sizes work best when fishing the wacky rig? i tryed a good bit last summer in some lakes and rivers with no much sucess but when talking to other anglers from the area they say it is one of the best techinques around. i was wondering what i could do to put more fish in the boat using it.

I use a 3/0 gamakatsu finesse hook

and I wacky either 4" or 5" Yum Dingers, Wave Worm's Tiki Sticks, ZOOM Finesse worms, or any other cigar baits.

The technique I use is to pitch or flip them into cover and let them sink for a little bit and WATCH YOUR LINE! As your lure sinks the line will appear to just go away or dissappear, when a bass strikes, the line will either twitch or begin to run (usually both; Twitch and then run). Set the hook then!

For reccomended colors, I like junebug, cotton candy, watermelon red, Pearl White, Red Shad, Green Pumpkin, Watermelon seed, smokin' shad, natural blue, or bull frog.
