Been hearing a lot of talk about a Money Minnow. Talk is it's as good as the BassTrix paddle tails! I haven't seen it. Any thoughts or advice on here??? I hate to order something site unseen.

Bait Monkey gave me a whoopin'     Since I have not been able to get my hands on the BassTrix paddle tails I just ordered some of these in the pearl with a black back. I'll give a report on them in 6 months, when the ice is off and the fish are eating good

I have fished both of them and they have the same action, they feel the same, and they look the same in the water. The only difference is the paint job. But I didn't see the bass that I have caught inspecting that before they bit.

True, most bass don't care what we paid for our lures or tackle. ;D

Used them today for the first time with falcon weighted hooks. Couldn't catch anything with and without the money minnow so couldn't tell you much. They looked great when I was playing around with them in some visible water. They are fairly easy to tear, I guess I need some Mend-It.  :-?

Glad I actually used the "SEARCH" bar before posting a new thread!

I just picked up a pack this weekend.  The local Sportsman's Warehouse had them in stock and one of the workers there led me right to them.  I asked if they had any new soft plastic swimbaits (justw wanted to see what they had) and he showed me the Money Minnows.  Needless to say I was impressed and he told me he had a lot of luck with them.  From what he said, the Basstrix has a better paintjob.  I figure the action is worth more than the paint job and I fish gin clear waters.

I'm going to order some in the Goby color.  I have a VERY good feeling about these in a goby color in clear water.  That ghostly grey color is a favorite spinnerbait color for me.  I told my partner last year that I was going to fish swimbaits post-spawn because that's how Yellas won the FLW Wal-Mart Open on our lake.  He's a jig guy.  I'll fish these swimbaits and I might out catch him this year! ;D

So I hear everyone just gives a slow steady retrieve.  I'm thinking of pausing it or adding a heavier weighted hook and making a yo-yo type retrieve to cover the water column.  How do you fish them?
